Pilates Day Retreats 2025, Friday 13th June & Friday August 15th

We are overjoyed to welcome Tansy- founder of Turning Tide Pilates back for the 9th year here at Wellbeing in the Wild, to host a series of Pilates retreats. We will be starting slightly later this year, to allow guests from coming a longer distance, more time to get here. 

The Schedule for the Day:

11:00 am arrival at Lime Cross Nursery, Herstmonceux, East Sussex, BN274RS, please follow the signs down the driveway to the right of the main building, where Tansy and your host will meet you by the lake.

11:00-11:15- meet and greet, teas and coffees and checking for any ailments, relevant health information. This year, we have an inbuilt form on this website when you book, so we will ask you some questions regarding your health, fitness levels, dietary requirements etc, there will also be a short section to fill out on wild swimming safety.

11:15 – Lake side Pilates class. Tansy will tailor this session to the groups capabilities and ensure that the session is both nurturing and fulfilling for all. Please feel reassured that you do not need any previous Pilates experience, equally Tansy will ensure that experienced Pilates students feel challenged and engaged.

12:15- Wild Swimming briefing and refreshing apple juice spritz and granola cookie.

12:20- Take the plunge into the crystal-clear lake, feel invigorated and refreshed and then warm up in the wood fired hot tub!

1:30 pm- 2:30 pm Alfresco two course, seasonal lunch in the vineyard and alcohol-free cocktails.

2:30 pm- Explore the conifer Pinetum, vineyard and ancient woodland, where you will gather in a circle to take part in a 15-minute face yoga exercise. Face Yoga is a natural and practical combination of techniques that are designed to lift, firm, smooth and relax the face, helps to reduce headaches and eye strain, and relax tension, giving an energetic and healthy glow, and improve your overall wellbeing.

3:30 pm finish the day with two tasting size pours of ‘The Secret Vineyard’ white & rosé and homemade cake

Option to purchase bottles of our limited production, ‘Secret Vineyard’ wine at a discounted price.

4:00 pm departure 

£100 per person.
