- Please shower before entering the lake, the lake benefits from a balanced eco system, sun creams and body lotion are toxic to fish and wildlife. Whilst we cannot ask you not to wear sun cream in the lake, we ask that you are mindful that components in some sunscreens are toxic to the lake, even in small amounts. There are some great sunscreens available that are better for the environment. We have a guide in the folder and some sun cream for you to use.
- You must not swim within 3 metres of the bank.
- Avoid damaging plants in and around the water.
- Be aware that ground-nesting and hole nesting birds may be breeding on banks in the spring and summer; be particularly careful not to disturb them at this time.

- Please do not burn anything other than the fuel provided by us.
- Do not immerse your head in the water as it increases the risk of infection (and you could drown).
